Kastellorizon
Kastellorizon is a Greek island just three miles off the coast of Turkey between Kalkan and Kas. The harbour is small and pretty, with some good quayside restaurants, and there are good views from the top of the hill behind the town. It looks like a film set, and has been several times.
It also has a "Blue Grotto" to rival that on Capri and with far fewer visitors.
The disadvantage is that, depending on the relations between Greece and Turkey, getting in and out of the island can be an expensive and time consuming nightmare. Sometimes the relationship with the Turkish mainland is more like a friendly rivalry; at the moment, the island's Greek officialdom seems to be going through one of its more painful, bureaucratic phases.
